CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION Silver plate soup spoon with plain bowl. First half of handle undecorated; then sides curve out to small-flattened projection decorated with two molded florets in square frames. Sides flare out again to form large shield-shape end of handle with square shoulders and gently curved arch crest. Shield section decorated with asymmetrical molded pair of leafy branches with three flowers, above which is empty field. Crest delineated by scalloped band above, which fitted into crest, is asymmetrical single flower on leafy branch against vertical striations. Reverse undecorated. Condition: Very good original condition. Plate very bright. Slight overall scratching. Slight plate loss on heel of bowl
