| Description | Silver pepper caster; en suite with salt cellar (1993.78.1a-b). Tapering cylindrical form with domed top. Body divided into four panels separated by wide vertical raised bands. Opposing sides with identical decoration: centered entwined initials "EGK" overlaid by symmetrical piercing of four stylized flowers between vertical rows of small holes. Realistic up-turned open flower finial. CONDITION: Very good, light overall scratching. |
